Retrospection

I looked for you in the mountains

in the hollows of the sky

in the remnants of the cloud

with no answer………

I looked for you in the temple

in the caves of the foothill

in the ridge of the river

with no answer………..

I looked for you in the haze

and beyond the sphere of the mist

in the paradise as well as in abyss

with no answer……………

I looked for you in the scriptures

in the rhymes of the gospel

and in the fragrance of melody

with no answer……………..

Then I looked inside me

and there you were ….

as quiet as silence…….

and laughing with love.
